Inspection
Technician completes inspection checklist. Findings logged. Insurance assessor scheduled if applicable.
Gate: Inspection checklist completed or insurance assessor confirmed.

Quotation
Labour and parts quotation prepared. Pushed to Zoho Books as estimate. Sent to customer.
Gate: Quote sent to customer or insurer.

Approval
Customer or insurer approves quotation. Job moves to Approved. Work can begin.
Gate: Approval recorded. Cannot begin work without approval (configurable).

Work in Progress
Work orders assigned to technicians. Labour time logged per task. Parts issued from storeroom. Parts requests created if stock needed.
Gate: All work orders complete and signed off by Workshop Manager.

QC & Ready for Collection
Quality check completed. Service history auto-generated from work orders and parts issued. Customer notified via WhatsApp.
Gate: QC sign-off (mandatory or bypassed per system setting).

Payment & Release
Accountant confirms payment in Zoho Books. Payment status refreshed on job card. Vehicle released by service advisor.
Gate: Payment confirmed before release (configurable). Receipt sent to customer.

Closed
Job card closed. Service history locked. Audit trail immutable. Customer eligible for 90-day service reminder.
Complete. All records preserved for service history and analytics.
